LCP - Challenge 12 - Cityscapes

So, Leanne Cole's challenge this week is cityscapes. Although this is not my particular area, I have played around with it a bit over the years. My images are nowhere near as spectacular as Leanne's. I absolutely love her work. This challenge though has given me an opportunity to look back at how my photography has evolved and improved over the years. I have always loved photography. As a child I was given a Kodak Instamatic camera when I was about 8 or 9 years old (the first camera for most of us older generation lol) and was a prolific photographer. LCP - Challenge 10 - Trees

Leanne Cole's challenge this week is trees. I love trees, they are so architectural, although I have found they are more difficult to photograph than you would think. Lone trees are best, but even then, trying to elicit the emotion that I see when I look at the tree in a photograph often means playing with the lighting or colours. Black and white sometimes work and I have even played around with some abstract colouring. I hope you enjoy the selection I have provided here. LCP Challenge 9 - Street Art

OK, so street photography is not my thing, but I have played around a little bit with it. This week the challenge run by one of my favourite photographers, Leanne Cole, is Street Art, so I dug around in my achives and managed to find these images. Mine certainly are not of the calibre of Leanne's, but I do like the old shed. Hope you enjoy them. You can see Leanne's post here https://leannecole.com.au/podcast-and-photo-challenge/
